Bianca Marie Rivera, "bonks", is a Puerto Rican, Brooklyn-native visual artist currently based in Oakland, California. Her art is informed by her experiences growing up in new york city, her love of animation, film, culture, female narratives and urban spaces.

The visual art created by bonks can be described in two long-winded statements:

Cartoon figurations of surreal planes of her own imagination | contour abstractions of the waking reality of her daily life.
